Parent Coaching & PCIT
The relationship you have with your child has a tremendous impact on his/her mental, social, and emotional health. If you have concerns about the quality of your parent-child interactions or about behavioral or discipline issues, let me help. As an experienced parenting coach and a Certified Parent-Child Interaction therapist, I can teach you specific techniques that will help you improve your family relationships, be a more effective parent, and decrease your parenting stress.
Do you have specific concerns about your child’s ability to learn? Do you suspect there are learning, attention and/or emotional issues that are impacting your child’s academic success? I have significant experience in psychological testing and psychoeducational evaluations and can help you identify the roadblocks that are affecting your child. When the testing is completed, you will be provided with a plan and recommendations for moving forward.
Do you suspect your child has attention difficulties and/or challenges with high energy and impulsive behaviors? Has your child just received a diagnosis of ADD/ADHD and you don’t know what to do? I specialize in working with children with ADD/ADHD and their families. Let me help you to develop and individualized support plan for your child, which allows him/her to overcome the challenges associated with this condition.
